Thursday, someone writes “can we get a logo vibe for the bakery.”
They mean a mark for the window. They also mean an app icon. They also mean a pattern for the paper bags. If you give them a photograph of a bowl with the word BAKERY in the crust, you have given them none of those jobs.
A neighborhood mark is paths you can still move. Wheat. Bowl. Cream field. No hours. No street number. No invented serif.

Once the wheat-and-bowl exists, do not regenerate it every time someone wants a warmer cream. Open the paths. Move a handle. That is the point of a vector route.
A flattened still of the mark will look fine in a slide. It will fail the first time you need a one-color stamp, a bag, and a window cling from the same file. Then someone will ask for “the logo, but more bakery,” and you will be back in Thursday.
